How it works
The ExchangeRate-API currency catalog and daily reference rates are each cached by the backend for 86,400 seconds, and an upstream request has an 8-second timeout. The optional surcharge is added after conversion; bank, card, cash, weekend, spread, and tax amounts may differ.
Worked example
Example: convert 100 USD to EUR and JPY, then add a 2% surcharge to see the reference-rate date and adjusted amounts.

GoGo Tools does not create personal lookup history, and analytics does not record amounts, currencies, dates, or results.
Daily Reference Currency Conversion and Fee Estimates
1. Actual Rate Source and Data Timing
GoGo retrieves ExchangeRate-API data from the open.er-api.com open endpoint. The source updates daily; GoGo caches rates for 86400 seconds (24 hours), and successful HTTP responses also set a 86400-second cache lifetime.
Review the rate date and retrieval time shown with results. Retrieval time is not the rate update time, and another request may still use cached data.
2. Converted Amounts and Fee Surcharges
Enter a positive amount, a base currency, and one to five distinct target currencies. Converted amount = original amount × reference rate. An optional 0–50% fee surcharge can be applied.
Total with fee = converted amount × (1 + fee percentage ÷ 100). For example, an assumed rate of 0.9 converts 100 USD to 90 EUR; a 2% surcharge gives 91.8 EUR. This estimates an added cost, not the amount received after deducting fees.
3. Reference Estimates Versus Actual Exchange
This tool is not an executable quote or financial advice. Bank cash exchange, account transfers, card networks, and merchant conversion may use different rates, spreads, and fees.
Compare total costs for the same amount, quote times, and applicable terms. The provider’s confirmed quote determines the amount available for an actual transaction.

Amount must be greater than 0 and at most 1e12. Choose one base currency and one to five unique target currencies from the currency list; surcharge must be 0 through 50. If catalog refresh fails, the built-in list remains available and you can retry.
