Directions are Word (DOC/DOCX/ODT/RTF) → another Word format or PDF/TXT/HTML; Sheet (XLS/XLSX/ODS/CSV) → another Sheet format or PDF; Slides (PPT/PPTX/ODP) → another Slides format or PDF; PDF → DOC/DOCX/ODT/RTF/TXT/HTML/XLS/XLSX/ODS/CSV/PPT/PPTX/ODP. A 90-second ticket is consumed before multipart parsing, then extension, file signature, and family are validated.

Convert DOCX to PDF. PDF to XLSX extracts page/line text rather than rebuilding tables or formulas, and scanned PDF has no OCR.
Limits and data handling
Complex layout, fonts, macros, and animation may be lost. PDF-to-spreadsheet is text extraction, PDF-to-slides uses page images, scanned PDF has no OCR, and fidelity is not guaranteed.

1. Fixed Layout and Conversion Limits
PDF is useful for sharing fixed-layout documents, but conversion can change fonts, tables, colors, and pagination. Check every output page; a PDF is not a guarantee against editing or proof of document authenticity.
2. Check Fonts and Layout
Source fonts and complex layout may not survive conversion. This tool does not guarantee complete font embedding, exact fidelity, or print output. Keep the Office original and inspect the converted PDF.
3. PDF/A and Formal Archiving
PDF/A has separate conformance requirements for archiving. This tool provides no PDF/A output option or conformance validation. Validate files separately against the receiving institution’s requirements before formal archiving.
