How it works
The tool queries the HipoLabs Universities directory and displays up to eight school names, countries, and first listed domains. The directory does not prove admissions status, accreditation, rankings, or current domain ownership.

Limits and data handling
The browser waits up to 20 seconds, and the backend allows up to 30 lookups from the same source in 60 seconds. Invalid input, no results, rate limits, timeout, provider failure, or invalid JSON shows an error and never invents school data. The directory and first listed domain do not prove accreditation, admissions status, ranking, or current site ownership.
The school keyword, optional English country name, and locale are transmitted through the GoGo Tools backend to the HipoLabs HTTP search endpoint. That upstream transfer is currently not HTTPS, so do not enter sensitive data. GoGo Tools does not build personal search history, and analytics records the tool identifier rather than query text or results.
